This time, we are introducing you to the Best Places to Brunch in Carrollton Texas near our property, The Place at Saddle Creek. There’s something for everyone in Carrollton: from down home comfort food, to large dog friendly patios, to upscale American fare, there are plenty of restaurants to fill you up and satisfy your breakfast cravings.


Astoria Caffe & Wine Bar
Where: 15701 Quorum Dr, Addison, TX 75001
Why: European coffee shop by day, intimate wine bar by night! This local spot has a large dog friendly patio so you can enjoy brunch, happy hour, or dinner with all of your favorite friends. We love sitting outside under the umbrellas while savoring brunch on the weekends.
Must Try: You can order breakfast paninis, breakfast platters or breakfast a la carte. We usually go with the English Breakfast (Open-faced English muffin sandwich topped with Canadian bacon, two eggs sunny-side-up, and American Swiss Cheese) or the Smoked Salmon and Bagel Platter (Atlantic Smoked Salmon, Garden Fresh Tomatoes, Organic Green Mix, Salty Capers,  Red Onions, Hard-Boiled Egg, and Cream Cheese, Served with your choice of Toasted NY style bagel). They have a delicious Espresso Bar, Fresh Roasted Coffee, as well as teas, and both iced and frozen treats.

Pete’s Café
Where: 3610 Belt Line Rd, Farmers Branch, TX 75234
Why: Don’t let the appearance fool you. While it might not look like much, Pete’s Café is serving up some of the best breakfast around. If you are looking for comfort food in the Carrollton area, you go to Pete’s Café.
Must Try: The Buttermilk Pancakes are awesome, we also love the Veggie Migas. You can also get killer heartier dishes like Chicken Fried Steak or the Country Scramble. It’s a tasty down home place with food that will fill you up!

Café Brazil
Where: 4930 Beltline Road, Suite 100, Dallas, Texas 75254
Why: This cozy little spot is more than just a coffee house! They have amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. We love stopping in for a filling, spicy, Brazilian inspired breakfast. It’s a favorite spot!
Must Try: The Brazilian Breakfast (Two Farm Fresh Eggs, a Chorizo Empanada topped with our Homemade Spicy Cream Sauce, Cheddar Cheese and Tomatoes, served with Rosemary Potatoes, a
Jalapeno and Grilled Homemade White Bread) is crazy good! We also love the Vegetable Migas (Zucchini, Tomatoes, Onions, Bell Peppers and sliced Jalapenos, tossed with Scrambled Egg Whites and Crisp Tortilla Strips, topped with melted Jack Cheese and Served with Rosemary Potatoes, two Wheat Tortillas, Homemade Salsa and a Jalapeno). The build your own omelet and crepe menu allow you to get creative with your breakfast. They also serve great sandwiches and salads.

Dream Café
Where: Village on the Parkway, 5100 Belt Line Rd Dallas, TX
Why: As soon as you go to the Dream Café you’ll understand why we love it so much. The brunch menu is extensive. There are so many amazing dishes you will have a difficult time deciding what to order. Every time we go we struggle trying to decide what to get. It’s a cozy, little spot with a great patio for outdoor dining as well. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff, and a satisfying brunch. Plus the food is health oriented, with organic ingredients and vegan options.
Must Try: You have to start your morning with a Popover – they’re housemade, warm, delicious and served with strawberry butter. The Glorified Omelette (fresh spinach, Swiss cheese and sautéed mushrooms) is awesome! The Cloud Cakes (fluffy ricotta pancakes topped with fresh strawberries, crème fraiche and powdered sugar) are a favorite as well. The 90210 Benedict (Artichoke hearts, spinach and grilled sliced tomato) is incredible. Honestly, everything is so darn good!!

Ivy Kitchen
Where: 5411 Belt Line Rd, Dallas, TX 75254
Why: Next to Look Cinemas, Ivy Kitchen is an upscale restaurant that is serving up fresh, delicious dinner, drinks, lunch and brunch. Fill up on brunch and then hop on over to Look Cinemas and catch a film. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Must Try:  The Chicken and Waffle Sliders (waffle cakes, crispy chicken, jalapeno cream gravy, maple syrup with home-style potatoes) are incredible. We also love the Cinnamon Crusted French Toast and The Cure Sandwich (egg, cheese, avocado, poblano queso, tomato, bacon and sage sausge on ciabatta bread).
