Magic of Christmas Light Show Spectacular

Where: 651 S. Main Street Grapevine
What: At the corner of Main Street and Dallas Rd is the suburb of Grapevine, which does one of the best displays in the area. This might be the best one in the whole world! It runs on a 20 minute loop, so you’ll get to see plenty of fun when you go. It goes through January 8th, with its millions of lights, you’ll find that Grapevine truly lives up to its nickname of “The Christmas Capital Of The World.â€

The Lights At Interlochen

Where: Randall Mill and Westwood Dr. Arlington
What: Another suburb of Dallas that does lights in the most incredible way is this neighborhood called Interlochen. It runs from December 16-25 and is absolutely free for folks to drive through, letting the holiday spirit wash over them.
Pro Tip: This is a very popular destination. You should allow a few hours to get through the entire neighborhood, since it can get very traffic heavy with light lovers from all over Texas. 

Celebration Of Lights

Were: SMU University Neighborhood Highland Park
What: At the boulevard of Southern Methodist University you can check out over 100,000 sparkling lights in this mega popular display. They kicked it off with a festive night on November 28th, but it says bright throughout the whole holiday season.

Fort-Worth Locations:

The Gift of Lights

Where: 3545 Lone Star Circle, Fort Worth
What: Taking place November 24th-December 30th at the Texas Motor Speedway, is this display that is just pure magic. Keep in mind it’s not free though. The charge is $25 per car, but if you bring a wrapped toy they will give you $5 off. Plus, at the end of the tour you can visit Santa’s village for pictures and refreshments.

Neighborhood Show

Where: 4044 Summerhill Ln Fort Worth
What: This show runs through January 1st, 2017, and is programmed to start each night at 6 pm through midnight. So if you are game for a little late night light show, this one doesn’t disappoint. They use a programmable LED sequence that is more high tech than most of the shows in the area.

Plano Locations:

Deerfield-

Where: Preston and Colt Dr. Plano
What: Another neighborhood favorite that isn’t to be missed. This one runs the entire month of December. There isn’t any fee to tool around their gloriously lit neighborhood, but they would prefer that you make a donation to the Children’s Medical Center. You can even make a donation online through their homeowner’s page.

 

Carrollton Location

Neighborhood Light Display

Where: Hebron Pkwy and High Sierra Dr. Carrollton
What: This one is a little more under the radar, but this neighborhood in Carrollton goes all out for their light displays. So if you are looking for a location that isn’t so packed with people, this is a great one to check out. You can even see a preview that someone posted on YouTube.
