Plus, coconut cove, a special children’s area. Spending a day at the waterpark will definitely keep you cool – make sure you remember the sunscreen!
2. Play Games at Bowl & Barrel

Why: Bowl & Barrel is an upscale, bowling destination that also features sophisticated eats and drinks. It isn’t your usual grimy bowling alley and makes a great spot for date night, girls night or celebrations. Foodies will love the menu, bowling fans will love the alley and everyone can enjoy the atmosphere and activities.
3. Take in a Show at the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus

Why: This august, the whole family can enjoy the magical and fun Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. This year, Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey present their newest show, Circus XTREME which features extreme artists combining traditional circus acts with never-before-seen spectacles. There will be extreme thrills, exotic animals and wild performances that will entertain all ages.
4. Experience Wildlife at Dallas World Aquarium

Why: The Dallas World Aquarium is one of our all time favorite Dallas attractions. This incredible aquarium takes you through the levels of the rainforest, and includes exhibits with wildlife from: Borneo, British Columbia, Fiji, New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Southern Australia, South Africa and Japan. You can’t miss the crocodile cove, the jaguars in the temple of the jaguar exhibit, the sloth forest and monkey island. There is so much to see and experience. Kids and adults alike love this aquarium.
5. Learn Something New at Perot Museum of Nature and Science
Where: 2201 N Field St, Dallas, TX 75201
Why: The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is one of our favorite educational destinations in Dallas. During the summer months they offer discovery camps for kids grades K-6, along with their great exhibits. There are 11 permanent exhibits including the Moody Family Chidren’s Museum, Being Human Hall, and T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall. There is so much to do, explore and learn here that you could spend a few days here enjoying all of the exhibits.
