Holidays At The Dallas Arboretum And Botanical Gardens
If you are looking for a more laid back way to enjoy the holiday season, how about a trip to the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens?
Here’s a snippet from the Culture Map Dallas about the event:
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will celebrate the holidays with a classic tradition and a brand new magical exhibition during Holiday at the Arboretum presented by Reliant. The event will include the beloved 12 Days of Christmas, which depicts each day in the beloved carol with 12 Victorian-style gazebos. Guests can see them during the day or lit up at night, with more than one million lights adorning the garden and the 30-foot-tall spruce tree.
That’s right…there’s going to be specific holiday themed excitement happening at the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens this year. If you have family coming into town this is a great way to do something fun and festive with them without having to deal with overwhelming chaos, shopping, etc. You can spend a laid back afternoon or evening together in a natural setting. It’s a truly unique experience that you won’t want to miss.
Of course there is also more going on at the Arboretum, there is a life-size Christmas village that you can explore. Each house is decorated and available for you to go inside of (how cool is that), and you can even enjoy entertainment!
