Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade

When: March 11
Where: Greenville at Blackwell St

Dress up in green and head to the Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade to take part in all of the merriment. Parade-goers can hear bagpipes play as they watch the more than 90 parade floats travel by at the 38th annual Dallas St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Admission to the largest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the southwest is free.

Taste of Ireland

When: March 14
Where: Cutco Kitchen, 700 Alma Dr, Plano

Learn how to make classic Irish fare at this free cooking seminar happening on March 14 from 6pm to 8pm at Plano’s Cutco Kitchen. Guests will learn how to slice and dice potatoes, carrots and onions like a cooking show star at the live demo. Plus, attendees can enjoy snacks and can try their hand at chopping at the hands-on chopping station. Registration is open online.

Cowtown Goes Green

Where: Stockyards Station, 130 E Exchange Ave

On March 18 Fort Worth Stockyards Station is hosting Cowtown Goes Green, a family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day celebration. There will be a variety of free activities for kids and families including armadillo races, live music, cow camp, face painting, a petting zoo and more. After the day’s festivities there will be a Western/Irish-themed parade that will follow the 4pm cattle drive.

Where: NYTEX Sports Complex, 8851 Ice House Dr

Cheer on your local Dallas Derby Devils at the 2017 Clover Cup, happening from March 17 to 19 and NYTEX Sports Complex. The annual invitational roller derby tournament will surely bring out your competitive spirit. Single day admission can be purchased online for $15.

Flogging Molly at House of Blues

Where: House of Blues, 2200 N Lamar St

Rock out at House of Blues with Flogging Molly on March 21. While the event takes place after St. Patrick’s Day the Irish-American Celtic punk band will be playing their hit songs and some Irish-themed tunes sure to get your feet-tappin’. Music lovers can get tickets to the show online at Ticketmaster.
