Celebrate Father’s Day with these dad-approved things to do around Dallas.

1. Eat Barbeque at the Arboretum

Where: 8525 Garland Rd

This Father’s Day weekend, from 11am to 4pm, head to the Dallas Arboretum for Barbeque and Brews. Dad can enjoy barbequed eats and sip from an ice-cold glass of locally-made beer. There will be a trivia contest, a kid’s adventure garden and craft corner to keep the little ones busy on dad’s special day. Admission to the foodie event is $15 for adults and $12 for kids.

2. Take Dad to New Heights

Where: 300 Reunion Boulevard East

This Sunday Reunion Tower is celebrating dads, 470-feet up in the air on the GeO-Deck. The entire family can enjoy 360-views of the city as well as interactive exhibits. The on-site cafe will also be serving drinks and treats. Plus, each dad will receive a special koozie and a free digital photo to remember the day.

3. Tour the Frontiers of Flight Museum

Where: 6911 Lemmon Avenue

Dads get free admission to the Dallas Frontiers of Flight Museum this Father’s Day with the purchase of a regular priced ticket. Check out the Wright Flyer and the one-of-a-kind Flying Pancake on display and don’t miss out on the Apollo VII Spacecraft and the museum’s collection of 35,000 artifacts.

4. Build Something Cool With Dad

Where: 3000 Grapevine Mills Rd

Visit Legoland at Discovery Center this Father’s Day and build something cool with the entire family. The venue offers a range of attractions including the new Lego Ninjago and Lego Friends Heart Lake City. There will also be a Lego car race. Dads and kids can build their own car and race it against the competition for prizes. Admission is free for dad with the purchase of a child’s ticket.

5. Cheers to Dad at a Local Brewery

Where: 1301 Pace St

Join Peticolas Brewing Company on Father’s Day for a brew or two. The purchase of one beer gets dad a beer for free from noon to 6pm on Sunday. While you’re there take a brewery tour and afterwards head out to the neighborhood to take your own self-guided tour of the Dallas Design District.

6. Dine Out this Father’s Day

Where: 3700 McKinney Ave

Have a eureka moment at Eureka!, the restaurant. Stop by for a Father’s Day dinner and treat dad to something delicious. And be sure that dad orders a whisky drink. The order of a cocktail will earn dad a free engraved whiskey glass to take home.

7. Swing Away at Topgolf

Where: 8787 Park Lane

Get the family together and enjoy a round of golf games. No, you won’t be hitting the course this Father’s Day, as Topgolf is Dallas’ utmost family-friendly golf-gaming facility. Enjoy eats delivered directly to your air-conditioned bay from the venue’s full restaurant and bar. And be sure to check out the 18-hole mini golf courses and the batting cages, too.
