Spending a day at the waterpark will definitely keep you cool – make sure you remember the sunscreen!

Why: The Dallas World Aquarium is one of our all time favorite Dallas attractions. This incredible aquarium takes you through the levels of the rainforest, and includes exhibits with wildlife from: Borneo, British Columbia, Fiji, New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Southern Australia, South Africa and Japan. You can’t miss the crocodile cove, the jaguars in the temple of the jaguar exhibit, the sloth forest and monkey island. There is so much to see and experience. Kids and adults alike love this aquarium.

5. Learn Something New at Perot Museum of Nature and Science

Why: The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is one of our favorite educational destinations in Dallas. During the summer months they offer discovery camps for kids grades K-6, along with their great exhibits. There are 11 permanent exhibits including the Moody Family Chidren’s Museum, Being Human Hall, and T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall. There is so much to do, explore and learn here that you could spend a few days here enjoying all of the exhibits.
